History

The urgency of addressing climate change has never been more apparent. At NC State, we understand the significance of this global challenge and we have long been committed to driving innovation, advancing research, and fostering collaboration across disciplines. The Climate Solutions Collaborative, an idea that emerged during the first Climate Change Synergies workshop in February 2023, arises from the need to provide a unified platform where our internal and external partners can explore, understand, and connect with the broad spectrum of climate-related efforts taking place across our institution. These efforts span a wide range of themes and all work tirelessly to confront the climate crisis. As we adapt, mitigate, and transform, we hope to increase awareness of our contributions to climate solutions and accelerate efforts on the path towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
