Schedule 2008-2009

Department heads and deans should develop the detailed schedules for the review activities that must occur at the department and college levels consistent with the following schedule:

1 April 7 , 2008 Release of the 2008-2009 RPT Web Site
2 August 1, 2008

Submission of adjustments to departmental summaries (including mandatory and expected nonmandatory candidates)

3 September 2, 2008 Office of the Provost will provide Dossier Cover Forms to Colleges for each mandatory and expected nonmandatory candidate.
4 January 5, 2009 Deadline to add nonmandatory cases

Staggered Deadlines:

January 12, 2009 Design, Education, Management, Natural Resources, Textiles, Vet Med.

January 19, 2009
CHASS, PAMS

January 26, 2009 CALS, Engineering

 

Deans Submit Dossiers. Deliver to the Office of the Provost, 207 Holladay Hall, Box 7526. Each packet should include:

  • original Dossier Cover Form for each candidate;
  • Candidate responses must be included (if applicable). No candidate response time clock is to run past the deadline date to the Office of the Provost.
6 January 12- February 9, 2009 Materials prepared for university level review.
7 February 9-March 6, 2009
  • University level review of dossiers
  • University Reappointment, Promotion and Tenure Committee reviews dossiers as requested by the Provost
8 by March 20, 2009 University level review completed
9 By April 4, 2009 Office of the Provost will share with each dean the decisions with regard to his/her college.
10 April 16, 2009 NC State Board of Trustees' Meeting- final approval
11 By May 1, 2009 Decision letters go out
