This memorandum provides notification of the Reappointment, Promotion and Tenure schedule and expectations for the 2008-2009 RPT cycle. Dossiers are due to my office per the following college specific schedule. Please submit to Vicki Walton, 207 Holladay Hall.
Staggered Deadlines:
January 12, 2009 – Design, Education, Management, Natural Resources, Textiles, Veterinary Medicine
January 20, 2009 – Humanities and Social Sciences, Physical and Mathematical Sciences
January 26, 2009 – Agriculture and Life Sciences, Engineering
The process details and all related policies, regulations and rules are available on the RPT Web site. Optional enhancements for the dossier this year include a fillable dossier template, fillable tables to report student teaching evaluations and graduate committees. I further ask that candidates include a printout of external funding from RADAR.
Each college will receive an electronic summary of all the mandatory cases broken down by department on or before June 1, 2008. Corrections and any anticipated non-mandatory cases should be added to the summary and returned to Vicki Walton by August 1, 2008. Additional non-mandatory cases can be added until January 5, 2009.
