Schedule 2011-2012

Department heads and deans should develop the detailed schedules for the review activities that must occur at the department and college levels consistent with the following schedule:

Submission of adjustments to departmental summaries (including mandatory and expected nonmandatory candidates)
3 September 2, 2011 Office of the Provost will provide Dossier Cover Forms to Colleges for each mandatory and expected nonmandatory candidate.
4 January 3, 2012 Deadline to add nonmandatory cases

Staggered Deadlines:

January 9, 2012 Design, Education, Management, Natural Resources, Textiles, Veterinary Medicine

January 17, 2012
CHASS, PAMS

January 23, 2012 CALS, Engineering

 

Deans Submit Dossiers. Deliver to the Office of the Provost, 201 Holladay Hall, Box 7526. Each packet should include:

  • original Dossier Cover Form for each candidate;
  • Candidate responses must be included (if applicable). No candidate response time clock is to run past the deadline date to the Office of the Provost.

 
6 January 10- February 8, 2012 Materials prepared for university level review.
7 February11-March 15, 2012
  • University level review of dossiers
  • University Reappointment, Promotion and Tenure Committee reviews dossiers as requested by the Provost
8 By March 22, 2012 University level review completed
9 By April 1, 2012 Provost consults with each dean with regard to RPT reviews
10 April 20, 2012 NC State Board of Trustees' Meeting- final approval
11 By April 30, 2012 Letters sent to Dean's Offices for distribution to candidates.
