This memorandum provides notification of the Reappointment, Promotion and Tenure schedule and expectations for the 2006-2007 RPT cycle. Dossiers are due to my office per the following college specific schedule. Please submit to Nicole Lawrence, 206 Holladay Hall.
Staggered Deadlines:
January 5, 2007 - Design, Natural Resouces, Veterinary Medicine
January 12, 2007 - Education, Management, Textiles
January 19, 2007 - Ag & Life Sciences, Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, Physical and Math Sciences.
The process details and all related policies, regulations and rules are available on the RPT Web site.
Please note that Deans are no longer required to submit electronic versions of the Brief Resume for each candidate recommended for tenure or promotion/tenure. Additionally, reappointments continue to require the same process at the department and college level, however, since final approval has been delegated to the Deans, reappointment dossiers stop at the college level. Please see Academic Tenure
Each college will receive an electronic summary of all the mandatory cases broken down by department on or before June 1, 2006. Corrections and any anticipated non-mandatory cases should be added to the summary and returned to Assistant Vice Provost by August 1, 2006. Additional non-mandatory cases can be added until December 29, 2006.
