Undergraduate Education, Council on -Reports - 2007-2008

  • General Education Program (GEP) Implementation Updates
  • Update: The Final General Education Plan (GEP) prepared by the GERTF was submitted to the Provost's Office, June 2007, and was approved by the Provost on February 1, 2008, to be effective Summer II 2009. For a copy of the GEP Plan: (Approved GEP Plan -pdf)
  • General Education Program (GEP) 2008 General Guidelines - confirmed by CUE. (added 5-12-08).

Council on Undergraduate Education (CUE) deliberations for Implementation of GEP:

Beginning with the CUE meeting on October 19, 2007, the committee was charged with evaluating the rationale and objectives for proposed categories of the GEP. In an effort to make the process more transparent to the campus community, implementation details are provided below. Please refer to the CUE minutes for additional information.
