Meeting Schedule

For Spring 2012, the Student Health Committee meets from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the third Friday of the month (2/17, 3/16, 4/20) in the Student Health Center, conference room 1301, on the first floor. Other meetings are scheduled as necessary.

  1. Advise the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.
  2. Identify student health needs and make periodic recommendations to improve the program, including continual review of the student health services and preventive medications, health promotion, the student insurance program, etc.
  3. Interpret for the University community the approved policies, regulations and practices.
  4. Consult with the Faculty Senate's Resources and Environment Committee for consideration of matters pertaining to the academic mission of the University.
