Meeting Schedule
The Student Health Committee meets from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. the 4th Monday of each month of the academic year with the exception of December. Other meetings are scheduled as necessary.
Committee Charge
- Advise the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.
- Identify student health needs and make periodic recommendations to improve the program, including continual review of the student health services and preventive medications, health promotion, the student insurance program, etc.
- Interpret for the University community the approved policies, regulations and practices.
- Consult with the Faculty Senate's Resources and Environment Committee for consideration of matters pertaining to the academic mission of the University.
