REMARKS:
From Chair: Chris A. thanked Assoc. Dean Ambrose for snacks and welcomed guests.
From Assoc. Dean: GEP task force met with Deans and Assoc. Deans, and a new proposal is online. Faculty senate will host a forum Jan 17 (corrected). Chris Ashwell added at the end of the session that this meeting will be Jan 17 form 3-5 pm in Stewart Theater.
Minutes from November 29, 2006 were approved with no changes.

COURSE ACTIONS:
- FLG 212 approved
-Friendly suggestion: p 4, revise “for engineers” to include science majors

CURRICULA:
- BA in German Studies intent to plan (Appendix A) approved
- BA in German Studies authorization (Appendix C) approved with minor clerical changes below:
p. 47 #10, change to “C- or better”, and FLG 298 should be changed to FL 298.
p. 48 #15, move FLG 492 to footnote 10.
p. 50 FLG 316 doesn’t match footnote. Remove FLG 316 (make footnote 14 consistent)
p. 56 free electives = 21.
p. 57 top of page should show 89 credits, not 92.
The following courses need a title correction: FL/Eng 22, FLG 315, FLG 307
p. 47 Arc 142, Com 243 are no longer active courses
- PRT curriculum:
Approved with the following changes:
p. 1 Psy 367 should read Psy 376
prereqs/footnotes have some non-existing courses that should be removed
clarify that STS courses are not being removed.
