Remarks from Chair:
Welcome to the committee members and guest introduction. Reference to the committee handbook provided to each member at meeting and to use as guide in reviewing actions. Stressed the importance of the committee and need for attendance.
Remarks from Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs – John Ambrose:
Hello to committee members new and returning. Overview of new GEP process and Task Force recommendations regarding the new GER.
New Business
- Consent agenda items were approved:
- Establish BTC Course prefix
- · Update of MSE minor
- ACC 410 Revision in pre-requisites
Major Actions – Course Actions
All actions were approved pending corrections
ARS 354 – a new course was presented by R. Ellovich
The following correction to the action is needed:
· List correct url for disabilities statement pg 3
· Friendly suggestion to add grade conversion
IDS 490 – a new course was presented by R. Ellovich
The following correction to the action is needed:
· List if any required textbook and associated cost
MEA 498– a new course was presented by C. Ji
The following correction to the action is needed:
· Pg 2, consultation information should be on CAF front page
· Clarification on contact hours for internships, suggested contact hours 3-18 for internship
REL 482/582 – a new course was presented by R. Ellovich
The following correction to the action is needed:
· Cover – remove permission and pre-req should match syllabus “300 level or above”
· Clarify readings
· Change heading to Student Learning Outcomes
