Committee Charge

The Committee's purpose is:

  1. to review copyright questions and make recommendations to the provost regarding issues of ownership, existence of "shop rights," alternative royalty sharing, and other exceptions to the regulation.

  2. to regularly review the operation under the regulation and make recommendations for change when needed. The Copyright Committee may recommend to the provost revisions to the Appendices to this regulation, as needed.

  3. to assist in identifying educational needs of the faculty and others related to compliance with copyright policies and guidelines, and to advise the provost on appropriate ways to address those needs.
