Meeting Schedule
The Council on Athletics meets one Friday a month during the academic year from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. The meetings vary each month as to which Friday (i.e., first, second, etc.)
Committee Charge
- Assist the Chancellor in the exercise of "institutional responsibility and control of intercollegiate athletics" as required by the University and the appropriate athletic conference and association.
- Function in advisory, compliance, liaison, and representative capacities. These functions are defined in the document titled "Composition, Procedures and Policies of the Council on Athletics" which is provided to Council members.
- Consult with the faculty Senate's Academic Policy committee for consideration of policies, procedures and standards as they pertain to academic matters.
