Committee Charge
The Council on Athletics exists to assist the Chancellor in the exercise of "institutional responsibility and control of intercollegiate athletics" as required by the University and the appropriate athletic conference and association. The Council functions in advisory, compliance, liaison, and representative capacities. These functions are defined in the attachment, "Composition, Procedures and Polices of the Council on Athletics," which should guide you in your role on the Council.
