The Office of Research and Graduate Studies promotes research and graduate curricular development through partnership with the various colleges, their faculty, and staff. Some links of particular interest to faculty include:
Sponsored Programs and Regulatory Compliance Services (SPARCS) provides services to facilitate the submission of proposals, negotiation of agreements, and the administration of internally and externally funded projects. The website has numerous resources including online training modules, proposal development resources, regulatory compliance information, policies, procedures and necessary forms, and a useful faculty toolbox covering a wide range of topics.
Office of Technology Transfer NCSU’s Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) protects the University’s intellectual property (IP) while promoting the transfer of academic discovery to industry for public benefit and economic development. Services include; 1) Protection of University Intellectual Property (IP) including: technology inventions, plant varieties, software, and copyrightable works, 2) Commercialization of New Technologies, 3) Support Start Up Companies, 4) Provide IP Outreach and Education, 5) Business Compliance.
