Fair use is such a foundational part of activities in the teaching and service mission of NC State, that the better it is understood, the more likely it will be exercised in a confident, reasonable, and responsible fashion. Fair use has been discussed in many locations on this site, but there are many excellent presentations of it throughout our higher education community.
