Permission is hereby granted for accredited non-profit higher education institutions to copy, distribute, and make derivative works of the source code for the “TEACH Act Downstream Control” Program (“the Program”) subject to the following conditions:
Use of the source code is allowed only for purposes of compliance with the TEACH Act (17 United States Code section 110(2)) and similar laws;
The Program may not be sold;
The NC State copyright notice and these license terms must be included with any copies of the Program that the user makes or distributes; and
Any modifications or derivative works or works that incorporate source code from the Program must be shared and licensed under the same terms as this license (i.e., free for qualifying institutions to use in complying with the TEACH Act).
Accredited non-profit higher education institutions may run the Program for purposes of compliance with the TEACH Act (17 United States Code section 110(2)) and similar laws.
The foregoing permissions are granted perpetually, royalty-free, and world-wide.
