Accreditation Process - SOP

  1. Each Dean will notify the Office of the Provost of any program planning accreditation within the college/unit by September 1 of each academic year.

  2. Notification will include the following:

    1. Name of program undergoing accreditation

    2. Name of accreditation authority (association or agency)

    3. Schedule of self-study/evaluation

    4. Schedule of off-campus activities (when appropriate)

    5. Schedule of on-campus visit(s) and activities

    6. Outline of anticipated requests:

      1. Meeting dates for sessions with reviewers

      2. Other expectations of the Provost and/or Chancellor

    7. Contact name, phone number and e-mail address for responsible party in the college or unit
